How Do I Return an Item?

Please view our return policy below.  If you would like to proceed with a return request, please fill out the following form. 
ALL information must be provided so that we can process your return request.  Pictures are required for fit issues.


 

Return & Cancellation Policy
 
Any item that is being returned for any reason must have a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) prior to returning.
Please call us at 800-814-7533 or email [email protected] within 30 days of product delivery.
Once the RA# is issued, the product must be returned within 15 days.
 

ALL CUSTOM MADE - VEHICLE SPECIFIC ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE, and include (but not limited to):

1. Custom Tailored Seat Covers
2. Semi-Custom, Custom & Full Custom Slip-On Seat Covers
3. Ready Made Headliners
4. ABS Headliner Boards - Covered
5. Logo, Monogrammed, or Embroidered Products
6. Molded Carpets ordered in a Non-Standard/Non-Suggested Color, Mass Backing and/or Design (Loop or Cut Pile in years that the carpet is not Standard)
7. All Material Yardage Cut to Order
8. All Special Orders per Customer's request

Any item that has been cut, glued, altered, or damaged will not be accepted for return. We strongly recommend dry fitting our products prior to permanently installing. Furthermore, Automotive Interiors does not accept any liability for installations done by the customer or a professional installer. Any fees associated with a professional installation are not refundable for any reason.

EXCEPTION:

If you feel your (custom made - vehicle specific) item does not fit correctly or the part number you ordered is not the part you received, you MUST provide us with pictures clearly showing the issue. Furthermore, Automotive Interiors will review your pictures with the factory and determine whether the issue is due to incorrect installation or a manufacturing defect . If a defect is determined, we will replace the item or portion of the item that does not fit properly.

Please note the following:
In order for Automotive Interiors to determine the correct course of action for replacement, it may be necessary to have the incorrect item returned prior to sending out the new item.

Replacement items will be shipped via the same shipping method as the original order.

ALL OTHER ACCESSORY ITEMS (excluding those mentioned above) can be returned, but are subject to the following conditions:

1. A RA# must be obtained within 30 days of product delivery
2. A 20% Restocking Fee will be applied to the refund (unless otherwise noted)
3. The customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs
4. Original Shipping Charges are NON-REFUNDABLE
5. The item must be unused and returned in original condition

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES:
If a product is returned without the original box & packaging, without hardware, instructions, etc., the refund will be adjusted accordingly - at our discretion.
Returns and Refunds are only allowed for the original purchaser.
All refunds issued after 60 days of purchase date will be refunded in the form of a company check.

Any item that has been cut, glued, altered, or damaged will not be accepted for return. We recommend that all items be dry fitted prior to any alterations for permanent installation.

DAMAGED & MISSING ITEMS:
Should a product arrive damaged/broken or missing a component, you must contact us within 10 days at 800-814-7533, or email [email protected]. Be sure to keep the box and merchandise , as the shipping company may wish to inspect the damage. A replacement item will be sent out as quickly as possible, and we will make arrangements for the damaged item to be returned (if necessary). You will be contacted via email within 2 business days with return instructions. You may be required to forward a photograph of the damaged item.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Any address correction that is billed to Automotive Interiors thru any any shipping company, such as UPS, Fedex, etc. will be charged to the customer at a rate of $19.50.

CANCELLATIONS: (Applies to orders that have not been cut and/or shipped)
Nov 1, 2023 - Any item that is made to order and has been cut and readied for production will be charged the 20% restock fee on subject item. This will include Replacement Carpet, Replacement Vinyl Flooring, Readymade Bow Supported Headliners, and all other items that are custom cut to order. All other orders will be charged the 4% transaction fee for the merchant processing fee on credit cards and Paypal.
